Environmental Policy

Responsible Environmental Practice

We are dedicated to improving responsible environmental practices, preventing pollution, and conserving resources. Environmental protection is central to our approach. Our employees follow all applicable laws and industry standards, particularly regarding weed control and invasive species prevention.

Promoting Plant Health

Our pesticide and herbicide applications follow Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles from the Ontario Pesticide Training and Certification (OPT&C). We use pheromone traps and biological pesticides to reduce pests and attract beneficial insects. Pesticides are applied only as a last resort. We exclusively use organic fertilizers and prioritize biological control methods over chemicals whenever possible.

Composting and Recyling

We bring all trimmings and clippings from our maintenance work to local transfer stations, where they are composted into bark mulch and other soil products. These recycled materials, used in the Golden Horseshoe region, help retain moisture and reduce the need for watering during hot months, while also providing nutrients to support plant health.
